Three Simple Ways to Promote Your Books Online for Free

Three Simple Ways to Promote Your Books Online for Free

I know that it is tough to write a book or publish it by yourself, but to promote it? It is even more difficult to get people to know your books and actually buy them. So, today I will show you these three simple easy ways that every author can do to actually promote their newly published books online for FREE!

1. Social Media

Use Social Media

Social media is an enormous platform on the internet that you can use for free to promote any things you want to many people around the world and the best platforms you can use are Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Pinterest, etc. All of these apps help you to reach a lot of people around the world, and all you need to do is to find the right place to promote it.

For example, On Facebook, you can join Facebook Groups which discuss books or authors, and all you need to do is to interact with them before showing them your works.

On Instagram, you can create your personal account, and let your fans know who you are, and promote your books there, using hashtags such as #authors, #books, #novels, …

Remember to engage with people on social media as many as possible, so they will start to recognize you sooner or later.

2. Community

Build a Community

Community is an essential way to promote your books out there. You can find the book community or author community on the internet as well. It includes your friends who are also an author, or you can make some friends, too. Commenting, sharing, and talking to people who have the same interest as you are the best choice for building community to promote your book. So, go online, find your peers, have some fun, and grow together.

3. Goodreads platform

Go to GOODREADS

If you are into books for a long time, you will hear about Goodreads for sure. Goodreads is a platform where you can create an account as an author or a reader. What you do on Goodreads is requesting and reviewing books if you are a reader, and giving your books to many readers for them to review yours. If you want to get your book published successfully with a lot of sales in the future, you obviously need a lot of good reviews, so Goodreads is your way to be famous as an author, too.

Go create your account now whether you have already published your books or not. You can use it later if you are still writing your books, tending to publish them in the future. It will help you a lot.

Note: So, these are the three ways I am talking about. Hopefully, you find it useful. If you don’t understand or want to ask any questions, feel free to comment below. Don’t forget to share this post with your community and someone whom you think needs this article.
